Buckland Rd Pavement Rehabilitation
Starting on or about October 5, 2009 the Town will be milling and overlaying the pavement on Buckland Road from the Manchester Town Line to about 400 feet south of Deming Street.
The Town has contracted with Tilcon Connecticut, Inc. to perform the pavement rehabilitation project. Milone & MacBroom, Inc. will be administrating and inspecting this project. Most of the work will be conducted at night between the hours of 7 PM and 6 AM, however, some work will be done during the day. The road will always be open to traffic, with one lane open in each direction during the night and individual lane closures during the day. Access will be maintained to all abutting properties except for the short periods when the work is directly in front of a driveway. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be substantially completed about seven weeks after it starts.
