Assessor's Report
The Assessment Department's primary responsibility is to value for tax purposes all property, both taxable and tax exempt located within the Town of South Windsor borders. Real estate property was revalued in 2007 as required by law. The 2007 Grand List assessments reflect 70% of those 2007 values as required by statute. The grand list reflects the 2007 revaluation which features an increase of $569,415,531 in real estate both new and additional residential and commercial real estate properties, additional motor vehicles and business personal property accounts. Listed below are totals for the October 1, 2007 Grand List.
